From Apollo to the Future in CAPCOM GO! and Back to the Moon for Good Join us at the Blake Planetarium for an exciting evening that celebrates humanity’s past achievements on the Moon and the bold innovations shaping its future. Our feature presentation, CAPCOM GO! The Apollo Story, is an immersive historical documentary that brings the Apollo missions to life. Step inside mission control and experience the tension, teamwork, and triumph behind one of humanity’s greatest accomplishments, landing the first humans on the Moon. Through authentic audio, visuals, and storytelling, this show reveals what it truly took to make lunar exploration possible. We’ll also screen Back to the Moon for Good, which looks ahead to the next chapter of lunar exploration. This program follows international teams competing in the Google Lunar XPRIZE as they design, build, and launch spacecraft to the Moon. Highlighting both fierce competition and global collaboration, the show explores how innovation, engineering, and determination are paving the way for a renewed human and robotic presence on the lunar surface. The evening concludes with Seasonal Stargazing, a short, engaging tour of the current night sky. Learn how to find key stars and constellations and get a fresh look at “what’s up tonight.” TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online, you are immediately added to our attendee list, no need to print anything or present an e-ticket. Just check in on show night with your name and a smile. All ages welcome. Parking is free. Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium. No refunds at any time. If you have questions about the event, please email Alison Riordan at ariordan@plymouth.k12.ma.us (Science Curriculum Coordinator, Plymouth Public Schools).
